Episode 03: Guiding Kidz to Use the Hacker Mindset

Dave Schwartzberg and I have an incredible conversation about kids and how to support them in their hacking endeavors in security and technology. We talk about his project Hak4Kidz (hak4kidz.com/) where he introduces kids to everything hacker. We talk about technology taught in the school system, his thoughts on introducing hacking to STEM to make it STEHM (the H is silent), and how innovative people from history hacked their way to make the technology we have today. So it’s really important to support initiatives like Hak4Kidz to encourage kids to hack their way into the future.

Notable Quote:

“Essentially we know what we know today because people did hacking to get there, to experiment, to push innovation, and not accepting things as they are.”
